LumiBot
After a massive nuclear war, the climate on earth has worsened drastically. Radioactive sandstorms rage across the surface of the earth, blocking sunlight. Resources become very scarce. Meanwhile, microorgasms collectively evolve due to high amounts of radiation, and develops different levels of sensitivity to light because of the dim environment on earth. However, there’s still hope: a scientist has found some species of evolved bacteria able to photosynthesis without barely any light. To prevent killing such precious specimens by accident, you —— LumiBot, are sent to test the photosensitivity of those bacterias.
Your goal is to record and memorize the maximum light tolerance of the tiny creatures you meet, while staying alive from the predators. After the timer goes to zero, you’ll need to fill up an encyclopedia with your knowledge, by clicking on the three choices for each creature then press submit. You’ll only win if you get all of them right.
Lead Planner, Lead Programmer, and Lead Audio for Ludum Dare 56
As the lead planner, I proposed and refined the core game mechanics and overall style, created planning documents that included the core gameplay, play process, game objects and mechanics, and page logic, and determined the requirements for both programming and art. Since all the programmers in the team left, I took on the additional responsibility of handling all the programming myself, and ultimately helped the team complete the project.
